Interactive Immunity Building Session

 

Realigning our goals to assist cancer patients in light of the restrictions arising due to the lockdown, we at Sanjeevani have launched a special virtual awareness drive which focuses on the promotion of overall mental and physical wellbeing of cancer patients, their caregivers as well as people from various educational, social and corporate sectors.

It is our pleasure to announce that we have begun online wellness sessions w.e.f April 6, 2020.

Each of these sessions is curated based on the belief that a strong immunity system plays a major role in the fight against COVID - 19. Strengthening one's immunity through alternative forms of onco-care such as positive changes in diet, breathing exercises and addressing emotional concerns is the backbone of this program. Delivered by professionals who are recognized experts in their respective fields, our wellness sessions employ a multimodal approach which teaches participants about the significance of Nutrition, Yoga, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), etc. in maintaining their immunity. All of our sessions are carefully curated to target the specific health needs of all our patients and help them in learning new coping mechanisms for life during the quarantine period and even further beyond. Guided by Sanjeevani's wellness experts and practitioners, our Online Wellness Sessions involve an interactive QnA round at the end of each session, which encourages patients to ask their queries and gain clarity on their doubts through direct interactions. Such interactions not only help the patients asking the questions but also those who face similar worries but are hesitant to speak up.

The sessions take a step further in providing holistic care for the overall well-being of patients by not only inviting special oncologists to quell their various concerns.

Some of the sessions involving the testimonials of cancer victors act as a source of inspiration for many patients, while other sessions have also taken shape as 'e-concerts' featuring talented singers humming the soothing melodies of Bollywood Sangeet.

Each session is conducted on the Zoom Video Conferencing platform every day (Monday to Saturday) from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

As of today, our efforts have enriched the lives of over 22,000 people and counting.
