I got the opportunity to do my internship at Sanjeevani from August 2019 to March 2020. My eight months of experience with them was truly enriching and memorable. They organized a number of free health check-ups for marginalized individuals in our society. These free clinics were a golden chance for me to put all the theory I learnt in classrooms into practice. The experience of mobilizing the people ahead of the free clinic was the best experience of learning and acquiring practical skills. I developed and grew my communication skills. Another significant lesson that I learnt was the importance of teamwork. The staff at Sanjeevani are truly dedicated to their duties. Their care and concern for cancer patients is exemplary. The experience of working together with them has inspired me to dedicate my life, even more, to care for the weaker sections of our society. I would like to wholeheartedly thank everyone at Sanjeevani for their warm welcome and for the unique opportunity they provided me with for completing my fieldwork.
