Clothes Bank

Hospitals in Ahmedabad commonly see patients from low income households travelling from neighboring states to treat their cancer ailments. With limited facilities they are forced to make ends meet with the two to three pairs of clothes, which hampers the necessary hygiene levels to be maintained.
The Ahmedabad Team at Sanjeevani… Life Beyond Cancer saw this as an opportunity to lend a hand to offer support to these patients through means of a Clothes Bank.

The inauguration of the Clothes Bank on December 07, 2018 was graced by the honorable presence of Shri Dr. Shashank Pandya, Director GCRI, Shri Prabhudasbhai Patel, Dir. Ethics Committee GCRI, Dr. Rohini Patel GCRI and Shri Uday Vora who congratulated the SLBC team on their efforts. Also present were Sanjeevani Angels Ila Vora, Krishna Mali, Vanita Vaghela, Priyanka, Hina, Disha and Tripthi.

This event saw immense support and a huge response from the people nearby. Now a routine activity, the SLBC team runs this distribution of clothes among patients in and around the area as well.
